Brandmark

A balanced geometric logotype

The OSG brandmark uses a strong geometric typeface with highly circular characters, giving the lockup a balanced and symmetrical appearance. The "Let's go connect" tagline adds additional balance and encourages a call to action.

Redesigning all touchpoints

The extensive rebrand required implementation of the new identity across all aspects of the company.

OSG Brand Guidelines
Brand Guidelines

Universal standards

Having clearly defined standards in the brand guidelines ensures accuracy and consistency across the entire brand. Because one of the most important components of a brand is typography, it is imperative to clearly define the type setting rules for all type elements and how they relate to each other.

OSG Case Study
Case Studies

Organized and informative

Presenting a large amount of information in a clear and discernible way was the challenge behind OSG's case studies template. The underlying grid played an important role in the solution, with the primary copy comprising two-thirds of the width of the page for easy reading, while the secondary and easy-to-digest copy was reserved for the sidebar.

OSG Sell Sheet
Sell Sheets

Thoughtful and provoking

While the case studies template had the challenge of working with large amounts of copy across multiple pages, OSG's sell sheet template had the opposite challenge of trying to condense all important information onto one page. To alleviate that burden, icons, imagery, and statistics were used as often as possible to allow for a concise and engaging design.

OSG Postal Rates Charts
Charts and Tables

Organizing and presenting data

As a print and mail billing company, OSG was occasionally required to notify its clients about USPS postal rate changes. These changes were often cumbersome and difficult to interpret, so it was necessary to organize the data and present it in an easily decipherable way.

Friendly and inviting

The OSG brand was very strong on building connections, both between itself and its clients, and its clients and their customers. As such, the marketing and advertising materials needed to portray friendliness and connectivity through its imagery and iconography as much as possible.

A comprehensive rebrand

Although OSG's rebrand initiative consisted of an entire team of marketers, designers, and developers, it was extremely comprehensive and required an extensive amount of work. All marketing materials, both digital and print, needed to be rebranded and redesigned. Color palettes, grids, iconography, imagery, typography, and all other design elements had to be established and implemented across the entire brand. This required numerous revisions and a large variety of skills.
